We started our journey in March 2021. But it has a flashback to it.
I was a lecturer and an independent woman. After settling down in marriage and having a baby, I had to quit my job to take care of her. I felt a strong urge to do something productive in life and also to support my family! It was the same time when also COVID hit us all.
I wanted to do something to quench the feeling of accomplishment and also to enhance my mental well-being without hurting my responsibilities! By then I realized I always have a distinct knack for selecting and choosing accessories among my peers all my life. So I decided to leverage my skills to resell accessories online. Initially, it took time to gain momentum but I had this satisfactory feeling that I’m being productive! Though I could not sell products that much, shopping for the stock and selecting the best from a collection always kept me going. Once I got enough traction I wanted to become a brand of my own. I started hunting for wholesalers all around the country and it was really hard to find the right place. Over months of searching, I found a few wholesale businesses that match my aesthetic sense and price range. I stocked a whole room with accessories and we had to change houses to enable my business.
I named my business in name of my daughter “NILA” The journey has been all kinds and I’ve even been into debt, but I can proudly say I always make sure my customer is always satisfied. The products I sell are always the best quality I can find.
Finally I got to where I wanted! Not in business but in life. I’m a busy mom, a young entrepreneur handling an e-commerce and getting to see many smiles in a business that I’m doing. This journey has brought me new friends from various parts of the country and a lot of happiness and huge satisfaction. And I want to be in this journey for as long as I can!
